For our client we are currently looking for a Machine Learning Engineer

Qualifications:

- Applicable working experience or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.

- Solid understanding of software development principles, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.

- Deep knowledge of Python programming, as well as familiarity with frameworks, other programming languages, and paradigms relevant to AI/ML development.

- Solid understanding of common AI/ML algorithms and paradigms.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git and MLOps.

- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and cloud-based development.

Role-Specific Skills:

- Ability to analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve issues of varying complexity in existing AI/ML solutions.

- Good understanding of different phases of the AI/ML development lifecycle and the ability to contribute throughout all phases.

- Understanding of software testing methodologies and the ability to suggest and implement appropriate testing procedures.

- Ability to communicate technical details, including writing user stories, with team members and stakeholders to maintain transparency and clarity.

- Good understanding of coding standards, best practices, and design patterns, with the ability to apply them effectively to solve - complex problems and improve code maintainability and performance.

- General understanding of various technology stacks and tools, with the ability to make informed implementation decisions aligned with requirements and organisational standards.

- Ability to independently resolve technical challenges while recognising when collaboration or escalation is needed for efficient problem-solving.
