Senior Concept Engineer – Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics

For our client we are looking for a Senior Concept Engineer – Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics.

Description of the assignment

You will be part of the Chassis & Electrical Drive team and be responsible for studies and the development of future platform concepts.

• Support the Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team in studying current and future platform concepts.

• Work closely with Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team and attribute teams to align suspension system performance.

• Represent the suspension and chassis systems in packaging and project meetings.

• Create and update concept and platform parts in CAD with consideration for industrialization.

• Build and analyze kinematic models for package studies.

• Organize and maintain data in Team Center.

• Perform Kinematics & Compliance (K&C) analysis on suspension layouts.

• Acting as the primary contact for key suppliers in performance-oriented projects.

• Supporting the technical project lead in all project aspects (timing, sourcing, quality, product

development, homologation etc.).

• Managing the Bill of Materials (BOM) for performance-focused projects.

• Performing technical engineering tasks related to steering systems.

Qualifications and skills required for the role

• Degree in mechanical-, mechatronics-or automotive engineering.

• Minimum 10-year experience from Chassis System Development.

• Experience of multiple suspension systems layouts

• Experience in BOM and weight management.

• Excellent technical project management and supplier coordination skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a high-performance environment.

Prefered:

• Experience of high performance/motorsport projects.

• Experience of multiple Geely Technology Europe AB suspension systems layouts.
