Senior IT Project Manager – TMS Implementation

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to support a global organization headquartered in Malmö. The initial focus will be leading a strategic Treasury Management System (TMS) implementation project, starting in late August and running through the end of 2026.

The assignment is expected to continue into a second phase during 2027 and may extend into additional business-critical initiatives.

This role is ideal for a senior project manager who enjoys working at the intersection of business and technology and has a proven track record of delivering complex IT and system integration projects.

In this assignment, you will:

  • Lead the delivery of a Treasury Management System implementation project
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and governance structures
  • Drive project execution and ensure delivery on scope, budget, timeline, and quality
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and consultants
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive-level reporting
  • Define resource requirements and align project staffing needs
  • Ensure project activities follow established standards, policies, and ways of working
  • Promote agile ways of working and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience managing IT projects
  • Proven experience delivering complex system implementation or integration projects
  • Strong experience in project planning, budgeting, and governance
  • Experience managing vendors, consultants, and external partners
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and manage project risks and dependencies
  • Experience working with enterprise environments involving ERP, BI, integrations, or related business platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar
  • Project Management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems or finance-related platforms
  • Agile certifications (Scrum Master, AgilePM, SAFe, etc.)
  • Experience in digital transformation or business technology initiatives
  • Experience reporting to senior stakeholders and steering committees
  • Experience working in international organizations

Workload: 50%
