We're looking for a senior level consultant to join our client's efforts in tackling cross-functional DevX challenges that require both strong technical and social skills. The client is a well known health tech company, and you would be joining their DevX-team, which consists of one App devX team and one CloudX team.

Start: Beginning of August or Mid-July
Duration: initial contract 3 months, possible 3 month extension

Location: Hybrid, mostly remote but some onsite in Helsinki (minimum once per month)

Project description: Rapid Dissemination of Tools

The moment engineers laptop: what is available to them? This role is about ensuring engineers can gain access to engineering tools smoothly, from onboarding through day-to-day work. The client has a lot of internal tools that might not even be used. Therefore the consultant needs to be extremely proactive, analytical and best practice-oriented to find the absolutely best setup for the developers, enabling growth, stability and efficiency, and eliminating frustration, bad setups and unnecessary overlapping technologies/solutions.

This role entails collaborating with multiple teams and organizations to create practical technical solutions that enable a frictionless engineering experience. The client is striving for an excellent Developer Experience, and your job is to be the glue in finding out what works and what doesn't, gather opinions, bring your own opinions, find painpoints from different teams and strongly consult and shape the new ways of working. There isn't a specific solution in mind so the consultant has the freedom to come up with the best version and setup for leveraging the developer experience. However, the client has a vision for how to improve the engineers life and they know what good looks like, but it's the consultant's responsibility and are of expertise to create a structure and path to get there.

Relevant experience we expect you to have:

• Developer tooling / DevX Ansible, Bash, scripting, or similar automation
  Collaboration with multiple teams and organizations to achieve results
• Internal tooling rollout and adoption
• Access, permissions, licensing, and approval workflows
• Exceptional collaboration skills and development mindset
