Product Owner for a Global Data Platform role to drive Azure and Databricks data solution roadmaps, manage platform governance, optimize lifecycle management, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure innovative, secure, and sustainable data solutions. We are now looking for a Product Owner, Global Data Platform for our client to start ASAP.
In this role you'll:

• Drive and execute Azure and Databricks data solution roadmaps
• Be the first point of contact for business owners and establish & maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders.
• Manage platform’s business demand prioritization which ensures business continuity and supports business excellence.
• Manage platform’s technical & non-functional requirements, ensuring integrity, security, and sustainability of the solutions and platform.
• Responsible for platform’s life cycle management and continuous optimization with best practices.
• Own platform’s governance model and oversee the guidelines are set and followed.
• Manage third-party vendors and technology partners.
• Keep your finger on the pulse of modern technologies, constantly exploring up-to-date capabilities to meet evolving data requirements.
• Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to educate users on Azure data solutions.

Skills required:

• Proven track record in overseeing Azure cloud and Databricks data platforms in a large-scale cross-functional environment.
• Extensive experience in SQL and Databricks solutions, e.g., Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and capable of managing ambiguous and crisis situations.
• Capable of translating abstract & technical subjects into clear business language.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good experience with project management methodologies, change management processes and tools.
• Good understanding of Agile development and operations practices.
