PLM Business Analyst - CPQ Initiative

For our client we are looking for a PLM Business Analyst.

Assignment description

We are looking for a PLM Business Analyst for a 6-month temporary assignment within Aurobay’s CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) / Quotation Tool initiative.

The primary focus of the assignment is the Configuration domain, with the objective of developing, enhancing and deploying digital capabilities that reduce lead time and improve efficiency in the Concept-to-Road process.

The PLM Business Analyst will act as the link between business stakeholders, the CPQ initiative and the PLM product team. The role involves analyzing current processes, identifying improvement opportunities, eliciting and translating business requirements into functional solutions, and supporting their development, testing and deployment.

A strong understanding of product configuration, variants, configuration rules, product structures and PLM data is important. Experience with Siemens Teamcenter is highly relevant, as is an understanding of how PLM interacts with other engineering and business systems.

The role will collaborate closely with Product Creation, Manufacturing Engineering, PLM, Sales/Quotation stakeholders, the PLM Technical Lead and other digital product teams.

Skill requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within PLM, product development, engineering or manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter in a functional, operational or development role.
  • Good understanding of product configuration, variant management, product structures and configuration rules.
  • Strong experience in requirements elicitation, business process analysis and translating business needs into functional solutions.
  • Experience working with engineering, manufacturing, product development or quotation-related processes.
  • Experience collaborating across business and IT/digital teams and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
  • Understanding of integrations between PLM and other engineering/business systems such as CAD, ALM and ERP.
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership and deliver results within a time-limited initiative.
  • Experience with CPQ, quotation or product configuration solutions is highly desirable.

In Aurobay assignments the consultants are expected to work in a remote desktop environment and bring and use their own equipment (i.e. computer and phone when necessary).
