For our client we are looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to strengthen an industrial control hardware R&D team based in Helsinki (Pitäjänmäki).

In this role, you will work on demanding embedded hardware development for long‑lifecycle industrial products, collaborating closely with system, software, and testing experts.

Key responsibilities

• Electronics design for embedded control systems in industrial products
• PCBA design, with a strong focus on processor‑based boards
• R&D validation, testing, and troubleshooting
• Participation in system‑level testing (e.g. EMC)

Depending on your background and interests, the role may also include:

• PCB layout design
• FPGA / VHDL development
• Power electronics design

Your profile

• 5+ years of relevant experience in electronics design
• Solid experience with embedded systems and processor‑based hardware
• Familiarity with industrial product development and testing practices
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross‑functional R&D team

Location: Pitäjänmäki (Helsinki, Finland) (hybrid, 2-3 days on-site)

Allocation: 100%

Start date: During Q2/2026 or as agreed

End date: Until the end of the year, with a possibility of extension

Language: Fluent in English, Finnish is considered an advantage
