We are looking for an experienced Web / Python Developer to contribute to a variety of cloud-based application development projects. We are looking for an experienced Web / Python Developer to join multiple data-driven application development projects. You will work closely with a data science and software development team to build production-ready applications and modernize existing solutions.
Typical stack

• Azure cloud platform
• Docker containers
• App service hosted web backends
• Python Flask / Fast API frameworks
• PostgreSQL databases, Redis cache and blob storages for images and other file types
• Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, repos and ticketing system
• Github Copilot / Claude code

Example responsibilities may include

•  Developing Python-based web applications and back-end services 
•  Building integrations with databases and external APIs 
•  Contributing to web and mobile application development 
•  Enhancing and productizing existing applications and proof-of-concepts 
•  Collaborating with developers, designers, and data scientists in an agile environment

Example projects include

• AI-assisted document processing and validation tools
• Python-based data mapping and integration development
• Web application localization and modernization
• AI chatbot enhancement and productization

Requirements

• Strong Python development experience
• Experience with Flask and/or FastAPI
• Azure and Docker experience
• PostgreSQL and REST API integration skills
• Experience with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD
• Ability to work independently in an agile development team

Assignment

• Start: August 2026
• Estimated workload: approximately 1,080 hours across multiple projects
• Work is planned in quarterly PI planning and delivered in 3-week sprints
• Occasional on-site participation in planning workshops in Helsinki is expected.
