As a key member of our dynamic delivery team, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of product team and contributing to the growth of our Chapter

Location: Remote work from Poland (required to visit the office in Wroclaw 4 times a year, at your own expense)

✔️ Description:

• Design, code, test and implement high-quality IBMi software solutions Support, maintain and enhance the IBMi hosted applications
• Work with various stakeholders and navigate in a multi-cultural environment
• Secure service readiness for users on IBMi platform
• Work with the Continuous Improvement process
• Keep yourself up to date with emerging IBMi technologies, tools and trends
• Analyze application performance and identify areas for improvement or optimization
• Identify trends, and provide actionable insights that influence strategic decisions for the delivery
• Contribute to IBMi Chapter teams, sharing best practices, mentoring colleagues, and actively participating in knowledge-sharing initiatives

✔️ Requirements:

• Experience A graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Have been working as IBMi developer or IBMi application analyst for at least 5 years
• Proven experience in ILE RPG development (including fully free-form RPG) and ILE CL programming
• Solid experience with Java SE development
• Experience in designing and integrating REST APIs
• Practical experience with IBM MQ messaging systems
• Proficiency with development tools such as IBM Rational Developer for i, Visual Studio Code, Git, and GitHub
• Experience with change and release management tools, including Turnover, ARCAD for DevOps and Azure DevOps
• Comfortable when working in distributed teams
• A quick learner who also like sharing knowledge
• You have good analytical and problem-solving skills
• A SQL practitioner
• Experienced in XML or JSON (creating/validating/processing from RPG and DB2)
