Growth Marketing Manager / Digital Demand Lead IoT

We are now looking for a Growth Marketing Manager / Digital Demand Generation Lead IoT Complete on the behalf of our client, Telenor.

About the assignment:

We are looking for a senior, business-driven and operational consultant who can build and run the marketing for a relatively new product area. The role is located in the marketing department and involves a large amount of personal responsibility for establishing a modern, data-driven and sales-oriented marketing function with a focus on digital demand generation, lead generation and conversion.

We are looking for someone who has documented experience from companies with well-developed digital sales, for example in SaaS, software, tech or other digitally mature businesses, and who knows how to translate marketing activities into concrete business results.

This is a commercial marketing role. We are not just looking for a strategist or project manager, but someone who can both define the strategy and implement it yourself, even if you have a marketing team with specialist roles to help. You need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves, creating content, building campaigns, developing landing pages and quickly translating ideas into activities that generate business.

The assignment will begin on a consulting basis starting as soon as possible after the summer, with the possibility of extension.

Assignment Objectives:

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing strategy that drives qualified web traffic, generates leads and increases conversion throughout the customer journey – from first contact to sale.

You will serve as both a strategic advisor and operational driver, helping the organization prioritize the right activities to quickly create business results.

Responsibilities:

Strategy and Go-to-Market

  • Design marketing strategy for the different parts of our IoT Comple service.
  • Define target groups, customer journeys and value proposition.
  • Recommend prioritized marketing activities based on expected business impact.
  • Develop plan for lead generation, demand generation activities and conversion optimization.

Demand Generation and Digital Sales

  • Build a scalable digital sales and marketing engine.
  • Optimize the flow from traffic to leads and on to sales.
  • Ensure that marketing drives measurable business results.
  • Identify, establish and develop relevant digital channels.

Content and Communication

  • Define what content needs to be produced for different stages of the customer journey.
  • Prioritize and set requirements for content production, ad design, etc.
  • Ensure that messages and content drive the customer forward towards purchasing decisions.
  • Be able to produce content and materials yourself when required to quickly get activities in place.
  • Web and Conversion

    • Recommend structure, content and functionality for website and landing pages.
    • Ensure that the website supports lead generation and conversion.
    • Drive work with CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) and continuous improvements.

    Measurement and Optimization

    • Set up relevant KPIs and measurement points.
    • Follow up on traffic, leads, conversion rate and sales results.
    • Continuously analyze, test and optimize marketing efforts.

    We are looking for someone who has:

    • At least 7–10 years of experience in digital and results-oriented marketing.
    • Documented experience in building and running demand generation, digital sales or growth marketing.
    • Experience from SaaS, software, tech or other digitally mature businesses.
    • Strong expertise in lead generation, marketing automation (Pardot, Salesforce) and digital customer acquisition.
    • Experience in conversion optimization and data-driven marketing.
    • Experience in working closely with sales organizations and understanding how marketing contributes to sales.
    • Ability to translate business goals into concrete marketing activities and measurable results.
    • Practical experience in understanding and producing marketing materials such as web copy, landing pages, campaign materials, email mailings, presentation materials and other digital content.
    • Experience with modern marketing tools and AI-based working methods that enable rapid production, testing and optimization of content.

    The role will be evaluated based on clear business-driving KPIs such as:

    • Relevant traffic to website and campaign pages.
    • Number of leads generated.
    • Lead quality and pipeline impact.
    • Conversion rate through the customer journey.
    • Number of contracts signed Contribution to sales and business results.
    • Return on marketing investment (ROI).

    Workload and start:

    • Consulting assignment with placement in the marketing department, reporting to the Head of Marketing. Close interaction with IoT Complete sales organization.
    • Start, as soon as possible after the summer - around September

    Start: September

    End: 4-6 months initially - but with strong possibility for extension

    Location: Stockholm/Solna

    Remote: Yes, but needs to be at the onsite 3 days/week at the office
