This is a greenfield opportunity to build distributed, highly available, and high-throughput applications using a modern microservices architecture, following structured project specifications. The assignment is expected to be prolonged beyond the initial 6-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Service Development: Develop new services and solutions within the
• Embedded Banking Service Domain.
• Payment Architecture: Build and maintain scalable, microservices-based payment solutions.
• Agile Collaboration: Collaborate actively within a Scrum team to design and deliver high-quality software.
• Tooling Optimization: Leverage AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity.

Qualifications and technical skills

• Experience: Minimum 6 years of professional Java software development experience.
• Architecture: Proven track record of building distributed, highly available, and high-throughput applications using a microservices architecture.
• Core Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Maven, and JUnit.
• Databases & Messaging: Practical experience with PostgreSQL and/or Db2, alongside message streaming via Kafka.
• DevOps & Automation: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Bonus: Familiarity with Specification-Driven Development (SDD) is highly valued.4)
