For our client are looking for a Python application engineer for Data backend systems.

Data is at the heart of modern vehicle development, especially for safety-critical functions. It enables us to understand vehicle behavior in real traffic, supports development and verification, trains AI models, and drives continuous product improvements after the launch. Managing these massive data volumes efficiently is essential to creating value and stay competitive. Our team builds advanced systems for processing, organizing, and governing data. We’re looking for a beginner to intermediate application engineer with only a few years of experience to develop parts of our growing system.

What You’ll Do

As an application engineer, you will be part of development and operations of our products. You’ll continue to add functionalities, operate the system in production and make improvements when the traffic increases and our dependent systems change. Your work will include troubleshooting, improve system resilience, and evolve our technology stack to meet future needs.

What You’ll Bring

• Must have basic to intermediate level of competence in:
• Software development lifecycle and best practices
• Python programing, object-oriented development, relevant design patterns
• SQL and database management
• Cloud platforms, container orchestration (e.g., OpenShift), and CI/CD tools
• Design and maintain APIs
• Problem-solving and communication skills

We see that you have an M.Sc. in Software Engineering or equivalent experience (5+ year practical code development). Good knowledge in English language, both spoken and written, is required for the role.
