🔹 For our Client from banking industry we are looking for Senior QA Engineer 🔹

✔️ Detailed description of work task to be carried out:

The role involves working on a file-based payment system for business and corporate customers, designed to replace legacy solutions. The system communicates with existing payment platforms to process transactions and provides a standardized XML file format to customers across multiple countries.

The solution is currently available in several Nordic countries and continues to evolve with new integrations and enhancements.

Work is carried out in an agile environment following SAFe methodology, including sprint-based delivery and quarterly planning cycles. Collaboration takes place across distributed teams located in Poland, Sweden, India, Finland, and Denmark, using tools such as Jira for backlog and sprint management.

✔️ What you’ll be doing:

• Assist in creating automation test strategy plans for application releases using established standards and methodologies
• Develop automated tests and manage the test repository
• Document test results and support defect management processes
• Execute automated test cases within defined timelines and report progress according to standards
• Provide testing support for production issue resolution
• Expand and enhance existing automation frameworks to support new technologies
• Apply best practices in test automation tools and frameworks to reduce redundancy
• Design test scenarios for system, integration, and acceptance testing
• Support manual testers in transitioning test cases into automation

✔️ To succeed in this role:

• General testing knowledge (e.g., ISTQB Foundation level or equivalent)
• Ability to drive and support QA activities across the delivery team
• Willingness to continuously develop test automation skills
• Strong communication skills to promote automation practices within the team

✔️ Your experience and background:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation (GUI/web or service-level REST testing)
• Programming skills in Java, Robot Framework, or Python
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Cucumber, Postman, or Chrome DevTools
• Proficiency in using Git
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and query creation
• Experience working with data formats such as XML, CSV, and JSON

• Basic experience in performance testing (e.g., JMeter)
