We are looking for an experienced Android Engineer to join an agile mobile development team working on a widely used consumer-facing mobile application.

• Working model: Hybrid, minimum 2 days per week at the office

What you’ll be doing

• Developing new features and functionality for an Android application

• Writing high-quality and maintainable Kotlin code

• Applying modern Android development practices and architectural principles

• Participating in technical and architectural decisions together with the team

• Maintaining and refactoring the existing codebase

• Contributing to unit, integration, and UI testing

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation

• Collaborating closely with developers, designers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders

• Sharing knowledge within the mobile development community

What we’re looking for

• At least 5 years of relevant software development / mobile development experience

• Strong experience in Android development

• Strong Kotlin skills

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Jetpack Compose

  • RxJava

  • Dagger 2

  • Custom UI

  • Google Play Services

• Good understanding of modern Android development practices and software architecture

• Experience in writing clean, maintainable code and refactoring existing solutions

• Understanding of unit, integration, and UI testing

• Ability to participate independently in technical decision-making and take ownership of the quality of your work

• Good communication skills in English

• AWS knowledge
