We’re hiring: Part-Time Shopify Developer (Contractor, Fully Remote)

The Role:

We’re looking for a Part-Time Shopify Developer (Contractor) to help us grow our Shopify store organically through exceptional execution, performance, and UX. This is a fully remote role with flexible hours.

You’ll work closely with our design, brand, and growth teams to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect Shopify pages, optimize the storefront for conversion and SEO, and continuously improve the customer experience.

A strong eye for design and attention to detail are essential—you should be comfortable recreating designs exactly, down to spacing, typography, responsiveness, and interactions.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Hormona’s Shopify storefront

• Translate Figma designs into high-fidelity, pixel-accurate implementations

• Build and optimize product pages, landing pages, and templates to support organic growth

• Improve site performance, mobile UX, accessibility, and SEO fundamentals

• Optimize PDPs, content pages, and checkout to increase organic conversion

• Work with Shopify themes, Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Implement and maintain third-party apps (subscriptions, payments, analytics, etc.)

• Collaborate asynchronously with design, brand, and growth teams

• Ensure clean, scalable, and maintainable code

How You’ll Help Us Grow Organically:

• Improve UX and conversion through design-accurate execution

• Support SEO and content-led growth with fast, well-structured pages

• Turn educational content and brand storytelling into high-converting pages

• Continuously refine layouts, components, and flows based on performance insights

• Maintain strong brand consistency while optimizing for speed and usability

What You Bring:

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer (contractor or freelance preferred)

• Strong proficiency in Shopify, Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• A strong eye for design and ability to replicate Figma designs in detail

• Experience building responsive, high-quality e-commerce experiences

• Understanding of UX, CRO, and performance best practices

• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, async setup

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and delivery-focused

• Fluent in English

Nice to Have:

• Experience with DTC or subscription-based products

• Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and content-driven growth
