Location: Gdańsk

Hybrid work: 3 days per week at the office.

We are looking for a highly motivated Mainframe Operational Support person with strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving skills and Incident handling.

Competencies:

Proven experience in Incident handling and Problem Management

Strong analytical skills for Incident analysis.

Eagerness to learn new tools and adapt to evolving technologies.

Must-have knowledge and experience:

- Deep understanding of mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS,IMS) and Base SAS.

- Capability to use TSO/ISPF and SDSF to browse datasets and monitor system output.

- Experience of working on tools like OPC/TWS, Abend aid,File Aid for defect fix.

Nice-to-have knowledge and experience:

- Scripting (REXX, Python, Shell)

- Distributed systems knowledge (for hybrid environments)

- DevOps/Agile methodology exposure

- Cloud integration experience (mainframe modernization initiatives)
