We are seeking for

Senior Application Owner, Logistics and Purchasing

for our customer Metso to work as an interim Senior Application Owner, Logistics and Purchasing in  Metso IT Supply Chain Management Logistics and Procurement team. You will be responsible for IT solution area life cycle management and development which includes SAP S/4 Hana MM and IM solutions and a set of other applications. Your role plays a crucial part in logistics and purchasing IT solution area, which will contribute to the success of Metso Logistics and Purchasing operations. In this position, you will report to Senior Manager, Logistics and Procurement Applications, Metso IT.

You will join a team of Supply Chain IT experts who are passionate about delivering the best possible solutions to Metso and are eager to make a significant impact. We are currently building new applications, developing existing ones, and implementing S/4 Hana. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Metso Logistics and Procurement and business areas. Our team culture is all about a great performance culture and doing things together, which means having high ambition in all we do – always looking for the best overall solution without compromising our financial performance. The members in our team are located in Finland and Brazil. 

What you’ll do

• Ensure the performance, availability, and quality of your applications.
• Coordinate, delegate, and monitor IT work.
• Collect and document requirements, perform functional analysis, design, build/test/document solutions, and transfer knowledge to stakeholders.
• Participate in IT tools and processes development, implementing Agile, DevOps, and ITIL practices.
• Achieve business value metrics and KPIs: performance, availability, satisfaction, usability, security, and cost.
• Address application service topics and changes, provide feedback, and act as a subject matter expert.
• Take on special project/program/product delivery IT responsibilities as needed

Who you are

• You possess strong knowledge in SAP S/4 Hana MM and IM solutions with a solid understanding of SAP architecture. 
• You have solid SAP MM and IM development and configuration experience
• You have hands-on experience with SAP MM and IM implementation, upgrade, and support projects, both standalone and S/4 Hana.
• You are a self-directed individual with a curious mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and creativity. You enjoy working in teams and collaborating with people from different cultures.
• You can work under pressure, meet goals, and coordinate effectively. 
• You have excellent communication and social skills, are fluent in English, and willing to travel occasionally.

Location

This position is preferably located in Espoo. Position can contain some travelling <15%.

Duration

• Starting as soon as suitable candidate found
• PO Ending at end of 2025
• Allocation 100%
