The Senior Test Automation Engineer will join the Fund Trading Platform team, which develops Investment Funds trading systems.

The role involves:

• Designing and developing scalable, maintainable, and reusable test automation frameworks to support multiple projects
• Automating test processes by creating robust scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage and reliability
• Planning, designing, and executing manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing where automation is not yet feasible or cost-effective
• Collaborating with Development, DevOps, and Product Management teams to integrate automated testing into the Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline
• Preparing and managing test data, analyzing test results, and reporting defects clearly to stakeholders
• Implementing, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, driving process efficiency and quality improvements by automating repetitive tasks

Must-have knowledge and experience:

• Holistic view of quality, understanding when manual testing adds value alongside automation
• Strong proficiency in Java 21+ for writing automation scripts and frameworks
• Experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate for integration and backend testing
• Expertise in tools like Selenium, Playwright, JUnit/TestNG, Cucumber, or similar for UI and API automation
• Familiarity with REST Assured or similar for API testing
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases for validating data integrity in automated tests
• Understanding of Kafka, JMS, MQ for testing asynchronous and event-driven systems
• Knowledge of OpenAPI and AsyncAPI for generating and validating automated API tests
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins or similar for integrating tests into pipelines
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and design patterns for building maintainable automation frameworks
• Strong experience in manual testing of complex backend-heavy systems and distributed architectures
• Ability to design clear, structured manual test cases and exploratory test charters
• Good English communication skills
