We're looking for a backend engineer to join a clients project building scalable, low-latency systems which millions of people will use. You’ll work on building and optimizing internal tools that support customer operations — including case creation, high-skill task routing, and efficient assignment workflows.

The system handles a case for every customer inquiry, so scalability and reliability are key. You’ll start with API development and smaller tasks, with opportunities to contribute to the broader framework as you grow into the role. You will be joining a team of 8 people.

The ideal candidate has used Golang for some years (feature development), Elasticsearch and has experience using SQL and NoSQL databases — especially Cassandra.

Nice to have experience from cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP), Kubernetes, Node.js and event-driven architectures.

Details:

• Team is spread between Helsinki and Berlin.
• Location: Half a week at the client office at Helsinki
• Start: as soon as possible
• Duration: 6 months with a very possible extension
