Senior Application Carve-out Lead / Specialist

For our client we're looking for 2 Senior Application Carve-out Lead / Specialists capable of independently driving assigned application separation activities from planning through execution and validation.

The resources will work closely with Service Managers, application vendors, business stakeholders, project teams and other IT teams. The overall objective is to add independent execution capacity to the team and reduce the amount of day-to-day carve-out planning, coordination and hands-on execution currently performed by Service Managers. Scope: Dedicated demerger resources supporting application portfolios currently managed by IT Service Managers. Resource 1 - Support for Group Finance applications HFM Hyperion, IPM Anaplan, Tagetik, Workiva Resource 2 - Support for project FX hedging and calculation application PROFIT The resource is expected to: · Take end-to-end ownership of assigned application carve-out activities. · Establish and maintain the application-level carve-out plan, activities, dependencies and readiness. · Identify dependencies related to applications, integrations, data, environments, users/access, infrastructure, vendors and other solutions. · Coordinate target environment and solution setup activities with relevant internal and external stakeholders. · Drive technical and functional separation activities through testing, cutover and validation. · Coordinate vendors and other technical resources required to complete the separation. · Proactively identify gaps, risks, issues and required decisions. · Ensure that required technical and operational documentation is created and maintained. · Support solution handover and operational readiness after separation. · Escalate to the Service Manager primarily when business/application-specific decisions, prioritization or escalation are required. The resource should drive the work rather than only coordinate and report it. Expected background and capabilities · Strong experience in enterprise application lifecycle, implementation, migration or separation activities. · Previous experience in IT carve-outs, demergers, M&A integrations or comparable application transformation programs is strongly preferred. · Good understanding of enterprise applications and their dependencies, including integrations, data flows, identity/access, environments and vendors. · Experience in planning and executing testing, deployment, cutover and validation activities. · Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, application owners, vendors and cross-functional IT teams in an international environment. · Strong documentation and structured problem-solving capabilities. · Self-driven, proactive and hands-on way of working. · Ability to independently structure ambiguous topics and drive them towards resolution. · Fluent written and spoken English. Key success criterion: The resource must be capable of independently taking ownership of an application/workstream and driving the carve-out forward without requiring continuous operational steering from the Service Manager.

Contract start: November 2026

Contract end: Until July-August 2027

Allocation: 100%

Location: Preferably Tampere or Jyväskylä. Remote within Finland also a possibility.
