Fullstack Developer (.NET, C#, AWS)

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer for our client.

Who they are

Within the Energy department at Propulsion and Energy, the organization is shaping the future of electric mobility. It develops complete energy and charging solutions that make everyday life easier—and more sustainable—for electric vehicle users around the world.

In the Energy Products team, ideas are taken all the way from early concept and technical strategy to market-ready home charging products, such as the Volvo wallbox. The team brings together specialists from many disciplines: technical project managers, HW/SW engineers, cloud developers, and technical experts who share a passion for building meaningful, user-centric energy solutions. Cloud development supports this mission by enabling wallbox backend services, installer support tools, and digital capabilities that bring physical products to life.

What the role involves

As a Full-Stack Developer, the individual will play a key role in developing digital tools that support the home charging ecosystem—particularly the Energy Assist support dashboard and the Installer Portal. They will join a collaborative, self-organizing cloud development team working primarily with .NET and AWS. Their work will span the full stack, contributing to secure, scalable, and user-centric cloud solutions that enhance the everyday experience of EV users and installers globally.

In this role, they will:

Build and refine backend and frontend features for core digital applications

Create and integrate scalable, cloud-native services

Enhance system performance, reliability, and usability

Work closely with developers, testers, and the broader Energy Products team

Take initiative, communicate openly, and bring creativity to solving complex problems

The organization values curiosity, independence, and the drive to push technology—and oneself—forward.

The ideal candidate is an experienced full-stack developer who is comfortable working across the stack, with skills such as:

  • Backend: .NET, C#, AWS, Kafka, SQS/SNS, ECS with Fargate, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB
  • Frontend: React, React Remix/SPA, Vite, TanStack Query

They bring experience in:

  • Integrating complex systems in cloud environments
  • AWS management and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with cloud security in distributed systems
  • Event-driven architectures
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ideally with Pulumi

They work analytically and in a structured way, viewing continuous testing and quality assurance as essential parts of development. They thrive in collaborative, dynamic environments and enjoy working in diverse, international teams.

The candidate has 5+ years of experience and a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent). A driver’s license (B) is helpful but not required.
