🔹 For our Client from banking industry we are looking for Subject Matter Expert - Citrix🔹

Preferred location: Warszawa, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Łódź. If a candidate is a great match, other Polish locations can be considered as well.

Part time allocation of 70%, candidate is expected to work Monday – Friday between 8:00 and 16:00 CET.

We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert for the Citrix-based cloud VDI environment, including Citrix DaaS on Azure, and the new Citrix Flex offering where the control plane is managed by Citrix and infrastructure resources are hosted in Microsoft Azure. The SME will act as the technical authority within the VDI domain and will hold operative ownership of the upcoming platform. This role combines deep technical expertise, architectural responsibility, and governance over operational standards and solution direction.

• Act as the domain expert for the entire cloud and existing on-premises VDI landscape
• Hold operative ownership of the Citrix platform in terms of architecture governance and operating model.
• Define and approve SOPs within the VDI domain
• Oversee operational quality related to platform management
• Make decisions regarding changes impacting stability, security, and performance
• Coordinate VDI related initiatives and transformations
• Collaborate with bank units (security, network, compliance, architecture, etc.
• Work with vendors on roadmap and technical alignment
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements

✔️Your background and skills include:

• Citrix DaaS, Citrix on-premises, VDI in general:

• o Strong expertise in Citrix Virtual Desktops and Apps

  o Experience with Citrix DaaS / Flex and both persistent and non-persistent solutions.

  o Design of image management model (golden image lifecycle, base images, versioning, patching strategy etc.)

  o Enterprise-level VDI architecture design

  o Understanding of control plane and resource location dependencies

  o Capacity planning and performance analysis

• Microsoft Azure:

• o Designing Azure environments for VDI workloads

  o Azure networking architecture (segmentation, routing, hybrid integration)

  o Integration with AD / Entra ID

  o High availability and disaster recovery design

  o Cloud cost optimization

  o Experience with Azure Landing Zone principles

• Network and Security:

• o Network segmentation design for VDI environments

  o Understanding of Zero Trust principles

  o Integration with SOC / SIEM solutions

  o Regulatory and compliance awareness

• Image and Endpoint management:

• o Understanding of image lifecycle management in VDI

  o Integration with tools like SCCM and Intune

  o Patch and update strategy design

• Experience and Competences

• • Minimum 8 years hands on experience in designing, implementing and evolving Citrix based VDI environments.

  • Proven experience with Citrix solutions in enterprise scale environments

  • Experience in VDI transformation or migration initiatives

  • Experience in regulated environments

  • Strong ownership mindset over the technology domain

  • Cross functional collaboration skills

  • Strong communication skills
