We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Platform & DevOps Consultant to finalize and scale a massive cloud infrastructure for our client operating in the medical technology sector.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Azure expert with a deep understanding of complex networking and infrastructure-as-code, combined with proven experience working within heavily regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities

• Architecture Refinement & Testing: Work alongside Microsoft to test and finalize the existing Azure implementation. The high-level architecture is already established, but you will play a key role in finalizing authentication, governance models, permissions (RBAC), and tagging strategies.
• Advanced Cloud Networking: Navigate and manage a custom Azure networking solution (analogous to a VMware routed NAT model). This requires a deeper understanding of Azure networking than standard VM operations.
• Migration Support: Act as a key technical contributor in a massive migration effort moving thousands of environments from on-prem VMware to Azure. (You will be part of a larger migration team, not solely responsible for the migration model).
• Deployment Operations: Ensure the smooth operation of the deployment path integrating Backstage, Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines, Terraform, and Azure. Deep Backstage expertise is not required, but you must understand how these tools work together as an abstracted deployment flow.

Requirements

• Core Azure Expertise: Deep, practical hands-on experience with Azure VMs (especially Windows), Azure Compute Gallery, and advanced Azure Networking.
• IaC & CI/CD: Solid practical skills in building and managing infrastructure via Terraform and ADO pipelines.
• Industry Experience: Proven track record of working in highly regulated environments (e.g., MedTech, healthcare, or similar sectors with strict compliance requirements).
• Language: Fluent professional proficiency in English.

This full-time assignment starts in the beginning of August and will continue until at least the end of 2026, but likely until September 2027.
