Senior Backend Developer (Java)

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer for a long-term consulting assignment within e-commerce and integration development.

About the assignment

You will work on developing and implementing integrations between a promotion/rules engine and an e-commerce platform. The role involves close collaboration with multiple teams to ensure stable and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement system integrations
• Write, test, and maintain high-quality code following best practices
• Ensure production deployments are stable and well-tested
• Collaborate cross-functionally with different teams
• Document solutions and key learnings

Required skills

• Senior-level experience in backend development
• Java (17+), Spring Boot, JUnit, Maven
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Azure
• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes
• CI/CD and GitHub Actions

• Workload: Full-time (100%)
• Start: June 2026
• End: December 2026
• Work setup: Flexible (up to 100% remote possible)
