For our client in the banking sector, we are looking for a Senior Android Developer.

What you'll be doing - Design, implement, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose - Lead and contribute to the modernization of existing applications by migrating legacy View-based UI implementations to Compose - Refactor and update custom-built UI components to align with standardized design system and UI component libraries - Drive frontend engineering best practices, promoting maintainable, scalable, and reusable mobile solutions - Develop and maintain automated UI tests using Espresso and contribute to improving overall test automation coverage - Create and maintain unit tests and other verification activities to ensure application quality and reliability - Participate in feature design, implementation, testing, release activities, and ongoing maintenance - Analyse application behaviour, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvements to performance, stability, and user experience - Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, QA engineers, architects, and business experts to deliver customer-centric mobile solutions Must-have knowledge and experience

- Strong professional experience with Kotlin

- Strong hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose

- Solid experience in Android application development

- Strong experience with Git

- Good working knowledge of Java

- Experience working with IntelliJ IDEA

- Good working knowledge of Gradle Nice-to-have knowledge and experience

- Material Design

- View/XML-based Android UI development

- Experience with Espresso and automated UI testing Location: Oulu preferred; Helsinki can also be considered. Hybrid work with 2–3 days per week on-site.
