For our client, we are looking for a Tech Lead (Java Developer/Architect)

The role:

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead who is interested in bridging software development and architecture. The ideal candidate is a curious, collaborative professional who enjoys hands-on development while keeping sight of the broader architectural landscape and the future of mobility in the automotive industry. This position is split equally between architecture and software development, requiring strong communication and close collaboration with domain architects and developers. You will join a diverse DevOps team working in two-week sprints and ten-week program increments. The domain currently comprises four teams and 24 people.

Who are you?

You are an experienced Tech Lead with a background in backend development in mainly Java and AWS, DevOps, software architecture.

Mandatory skills:

• Experience in Tech Lead/team lead roles

• Excellent communication skills

• Very skilled in Java backend

• Very skilled in TypeScript

• Experience from AWS (primary Serverless)

• Understanding of Micro services, architecture and design

• DB skills (SQL and NoSQL)

• Experience working with GitHub

• Skilled in Spring Boot

• Experience from Asynchronous programming

• Experience in Unix, Linux

• Experience in Test Driven Development

• Experience in CI/CD

• Experience of Agile way of working (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)

Bonus:

• Experience in Automotive industry and connectivity.

• Understanding of scalability and experience of load tests of software solutions

Any additional knowledge of connected applications, CDK, Code Pipelines, Docker, Serverless development, load testing and application profiling is a bonus. We put the emphasis on who you are as a person, and we believe that your personality is the major reason for you to succeed in this role.

Our main hub and office is located in Gothenburg, and the work is expected to be perfomed mainly in the office (hybrid work setup)

As a part of the contract signature, you, the supplier, will also sign a ‘SELF-DECLARATION FORM’ confirming all requested Background Checks are completed. If you/your consultant is selected for the assignment, you are responsible to ensure the background check is completed before signing a contract.

Our client reserves the right to request evidence of completion of these checks according to their expectations for the duration of the contingent worker assignment.

If any deviations or discrepancies occur, the supplier should inform Ework and the candidate should not be moving forward in the procurement process.

Any supplier awarded an assignment with our client needs to, at least, perform checks on:

• Identity verification

• Right-to-work confirmation

• Address verification (covering approximately the last 10 years)

• Education verification (highest relevant degree or certification)

• Financial fitness (e.g., history of bankruptcy or significant debts)

• Corporate directorship review (where applicable)

• Criminal record check in accordance with local legislation

• Basic open-source / media review (including social media)
