🔹 For our Client from automotive industry we are looking for 🔹Senior RPG Developer (IBM/AS400)🔹

You can work remotely, but with visits in the Wrocław office once a month for 2-3 days.

🚀 About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior RPG Developer to join a stable Agile team working on the evolution of global warehouse management systems built on IBM iSeries (AS/400).

You will play a key role in maintaining and modernizing critical systems that support warehouse operations across multiple distribution centers.

🧩 Your responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain warehouse applications on IBM i (AS/400)
  • Design and implement new features aligned with business needs
  • Ensure system stability, performance, and reliability
  • Support integration with financial processes and systems
  • Work in an Agile team (Scrum) with regular sprint cycles
  • Participate in planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups
  • Contribute to system modernization initiatives
  • Help reduce deployment risks for new distribution centers

✅ Requirements (must-have)

Strong hands-on experience with:

  • RPG (ILE / Free Format)
  • CL
  • SQL & DB2
  • Proven experience with IBM i / AS400
  • Experience working in Agile (Scrum or similar) environments

Familiarity with:

  • REST integrations
  • Development tools (VS Code / RDi)
  • Turnover tools

Good English (written & spoken)

Willingness to work on-site in Wrocław

➕ Nice to have

  • Experience in finance-related systems
  • Knowledge of warehouse management / supply chain
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Experience working in global/distributed teams
