Software Developer to develop a platform in TeleCom domainSkilled with Java? We are looking for a freelancer to develop a platform/software managing customer broadband modems and 5G routers! The goal is to improve device functionality and enhance the customer experience.

Background we're looking for:

• Very strong proficiency in Java
• Ideally experienced with Google Cloud (GCP) as the service will be migrated to Google Cloud during 2025
• Solid expertise with microservices architecture, including both design and implementation
• A self-driven individual who can take initiative to drive project progress and play a role in technical solution and architecture design
• The team’s working language is English. As a security clearance is required, the candidate must have lived in Finland for 5+ years

The following skills are seen as an advantage:

• Experience with Go (Golang) as part of the plarform in implemented with Go
• Experience with public cloud platforms, at least in service deployment
• Kubernetes experience
• Familiarity with React and TypeScript
• Knowledge of broadband modems and/or 5G router management protocols (Broadband Forum TR-069 and TR-369 protocols)
• Familiarity with Autonomous Operations / Autonomous Networks

Work Setup: Hybrid model, with part of the work being done onsite in Helsinki.

Start Date and Duration: Start ASAP, following the approval of the security clearance. The contract will be valid until further notice.
