Our customer is looking for a senior-level professional, such as a Lead Data Scientist, to join our Optimization team within the Building Optimization & Insights Tribe for Q4. The role involves developing elevator group controller prototypes that leverage lobby sensor data and testing them in our in-house simulator. Skills, Education and Experience - Master’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or physics. - Knowledge of optimization methods (linear programming, multi-objective optimization). - Complex problem-solving skills. - Good analytical skills, with an independent and cooperative approach to work. - Proactive mindset. - Experience in data science, including tools like SQL and Python. - Strong practical experience with C++ - Version control/Git/Gitlab know-how. - Fluent in both written and spoken English. - be able to be present at the customer’s office in Espoo once a week if needed.
