About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing mobile applications that enhance and integrate with our physical products, such as CPRMeter and NeoBeat. Beyond solving technical challenges, you will help establish development processes that drive long-term success.
Working closely with the Technical Product Manager (TPM), you will ensure technical solutions align with the product vision and strategy. You will also help shape product requirements, define priorities, and guide the team in working effectively.
This is a unique opportunity to build a team from the ground up, define development workflows, foster collaboration across teams, and directly contribute to the success of impactful healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain mobile applications using cross-platform technologies such as .NET MAUI.
Identify, debug, and improve software solutions.
Implement and adhere to Laerdal’s recommended tools, frameworks, and industry standards.
Take ownership of writing and maintaining clear, detailed technical documentation.
Act as a liaison between different teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
Conduct code reviews and write unit tests to maintain code quality.
Manage CI/CD pipelines for software distribution.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, including:
Bluetooth Low Energy (Basic & Advanced)
Azure EventHub
.NET MAUI (iOS, Android, Windows)
.NET 8+

Required Qualifications
BSc or MSc in a relevant engineering discipline.
5+ years of professional experience in software development.
Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming, particularly C#.
Expertise in cross-platform development, specifically with .NET MAUI.
Strong interest in DevOps, with experience in GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and NuGet.org.
Passion for IoT and related technologies.

Location
This position is based in Stavanger, Norway. We primarily work on-site, with the flexibility to work remotely on occasion.
