Our customer is looking for a DevOps specialist to work on a project that aims to develop a centralized system offered as a software service to reduce the technical administrative burden on higher education institutions and improve system interoperability. The project seeks to address existing challenges in the current system that hinder system integration and user experience. This role is a part of a larger team and the work is primarily done remotely in english or in finnish. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: • DevOps Specialist Services o Kubernetes o Creating cloud environments using an Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) approach o Building and leveraging automation o Selecting relevant cloud technologies o Server infrastructure management and maintenance o Defining, building, and maintaining CI/CD processes o Optimizing scalability, resource allocation, and performance o Ensuring security, data protection, and cybersecurity o Managing maintenance and updates Experience Requirements: • The specialist must have DevOps experience in at least three (3) IT system projects (minimum 110 billable hours per project). o Additional scored requirement: 330 billable hours in the same area. • Experience in setting up, maintaining, and optimizing Kubernetes systems in a GCP cloud environment, gained in a maximum of five (5) projects (minimum 100 billable hours per project). • DevOps experience in GCP environments across all the following areas, gained in a maximum of five (5) projects (minimum 200 billable hours per project): o Selection of relevant cloud technologies o Building environments using the Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) approach o Developing and utilizing automation for configuration management and maintenance o Optimizing scalability, resources, and performance o Additional scored requirement: 400 billable hours in the same area. • DevOps experience in GCP environments across all the following areas, gained in a maximum of five (5) projects (minimum 100 billable hours per project): o Cloud infrastructure management and maintenance o Ensuring security and cybersecurity o Maintenance and update management • DevOps experience in GCP environments in defining, building, and maintaining CI/CD processes, gained in a maximum of five (5) projects (minimum 50 billable hours per project). • Proficiency in written and spoken Finnish or English, with the ability to produce documentation in English. • Possession of valid DevOps certifications for GCP environments: o GCP: Cloud Architect o GCP: Cloud DevOps Engineer
