We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a clients team working on advanced marine propulsion technology solutions. In this role, you will contribute to large-scale propulsion system delivery projects, supporting both ongoing and new customer projects in an international engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design tasks related to large-scale marine propulsion system delivery projects
• Creating and maintaining project structures and technical documentation
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting project execution throughout the product lifecycle
• Developing and implementing new technical solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Approximately 2–10 years of experience in mechanical design
• Experience with 3D CAD tools
• NX and Teamcenter experience is considered an advantage, but not required
• Experience with other CAD and PDM/PLM systems is also highly relevant
• Strong technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good written and spoken Finnish and English skills

Duration: Long-term assignment with an immediate and flexible start date.

Location: Helsinki Vuosaari, Finland (hybrid)
