On behalf of a private sector client, we are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join a data integration team working on a strategic infrastructure project.

The consultant will be part of a team building a custom ETL platform to replace an existing Talend-based solution. The role involves developing and maintaining Python-based data-processing applications, containerising workloads and deploying them as Kubernetes CronJobs alongside Kafka, and managing CI/CD pipelines. The consultant is expected to bring solid hands-on engineering skills, a pragmatic approach to building reliable pipelines, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.

Location: Greater Copenhagen, hybrid (min. 3 days/week onsite)

Your qualifications
We are looking for a consultant with the following qualifications:

• Strong Python development skills for data ingestion, transformation, and storage across files, databases, and external APIs
• Experience with containerisation (Docker) and running workloads as Kubernetes CronJobs
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for event-driven data pipelines
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment
• Familiarity with secure file transfers (SFTP) and REST APIs
• Proven track record designing and optimising scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
