Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Join a high-impact team shaping AI-powered creative and campaign workflows across images, video, text, and performance data.This role focuses on advancing the client's AI platform for advertising creative and campaign optimization. The work spans applied machine learning, scalable data and model pipelines, and cross-functional platform development to productionize robust AI applications for a global customer base.

In this role, you will:
  • Design and build production-grade machine learning systems that help users create stronger ad creatives and campaigns.
  • Drive the long-term technical architecture of the AI platform domain and raise the bar for engineering excellence.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and infrastructure stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions.
  • Mentor and coach engineers, helping grow technical talent through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and hands-on support.
  • Work across diverse datasets including image, video, audio, text, and structured performance data to deliver robust customer-facing applications.

You will thrive if:
  • You have extensive experience building and deploying production-quality software and machine learning-powered services at scale.
  • You are fluent in Python and comfortable with modern ML frameworks, cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), and MLOps tooling.
  • You can set technical direction, make thoughtful architectural decisions, and balance speed with long-term quality.
  • You enjoy mentoring senior engineers and leading through technical excellence, collaboration, and clear communication.
  • You are energized by ambiguous problems, customer-focused innovation, and staying current with advances in generative AI, computer vision, and NLP.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a hybrid capacity from Helsinki office 3 days a week
