We are now looking for a Senior Elastic Specialist on the behalf of our client, Tetra Pak.

As an Elastic Stack observability specialist, you will support Tetra Pak’s digital journey by contributing to the implementation of a standardized observability stack.

The role is focused on:

• Designing a stack that spans over air gapped environments.
• Analyzing current observability data and its usability in KQL
• Define improvements for data consistency and query performance
• Improving data structure and tagging
• Implement alerts, detection strategies and visualizations
• Explore storage type alternatives - hot vs cold storage
• Define retention policies by data type and usage
• Implement head/tail sampling strategies
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer

We believe you have:

• Deep expertise in the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Elastic APM, OTEL)
• Experience with Elastic Fleet management
• Strong experience in observability engineering, focusing on logs, metrics, and traces correlation
• Advanced expertise in KQL (Kibana Query Language)
• Strong experience in designing detection logic and dashboards using KQL
• Experience in Logstash pipeline design, transformation, and routing
• Experience with alerting strategies and anomaly detection within Elastic
• Knowledge of data modeling, tagging strategies, and schema design using Elastic Common Schema (ECS)
• Experience in storage tier strategies
• Experience integrating Elastic with external systems e.g. Splunk
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Fluency in English
