Embedded System Developer (C++ & Android)
About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Embedded Systems Developer to join our clients Platform team, with a clear focus on leveraging and advancing technologies originating from Android and Google’s ecosystem. This is a role for someone who combines deep technical expertise with a pragmatic, forward-thinking mindset, and who is comfortable navigating ambiguity to drive meaningful progress.
Based in our Gothenburg office, you will play a key role in evaluating, integrating, and operationalizing the latest innovations from Google, ensuring their successful adoption across our platform and towards customer projects. You will act as a bridge between emerging Android technologies and real-world automotive applications, enabling scalable and future-proof solutions while maintaining compliance with Google Automotive Services (GAS) requirements.
This will require a systematic approach to continuous product updates and configurability. As an experienced developer, we are certain that your knowledge and ideas will help us to grow our footprint in the Automotive Infotainment market.
As a global company with different customers, the work involves interaction with several stakeholders. To enable focused work, we are organized in agile teams with a Product Owner that handles prioritizations.
Responsibilities

Skill requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 2 years of professional experience in software development industry.
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems development, including hardware interfacing, low-level programming, and working with test rigs.
- Programming languages C++, Python, Java
Preferred
- Expertise in Android Automotive Software Development, in the embedded domain
- Experience from QNX and Hypervisors
- Experience in the automotive industry
