We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join a team working on business-critical systems at the core of a large-scale e-commerce platform. We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to complement an existing development team. 

We are looking for a proactive team player who is also comfortable working independently. The ideal consultant has experience and perspective not only in feature development, but also in operating production systems and improving their maintainability. The systems are at the core of a large-scale e-commerce platform, and continuously improving their reliability and operational health is an essential part of the day-to-day work. 

Key backend technologies: Node.js, PostgreSQL and AWS Lambda.

We also expect familiarity with AI-assisted software development and an interest in improving development processes and practices around AI-assisted coding. The team currently uses GitHub Copilot, including Copilot CLI, and Amazon Kiro.

The team works in a hybrid model, with an expectation of being at the Helsinki office at least two days per week on average. More frequent on-site presence is preferred especially at the beginning of the assignment.
