Test Engineer / Tester – Rope and Material Testing

We are looking for a new team member to work with rope and material testing. The role focuses on performing and analyzing various tests, such as lifetime, friction, and tensile testing.

The position is full-time and based in customer premises.

Responsibilities:

• Participating in the creation of test specifications and planning test programs

• Instrumenting test equipment (e.g., slip measurements, force sensors) with support from experienced lab professionals

• Monitoring test programs on a daily and weekly basis and documenting anomalies

• Producing test documentation (LAB) using O365 tools, including photo documentation

• Maintaining a logbook and performing basic Excel calculations

• Maintaining and developing the mechanical aspects of test equipment

Requirements:

• Ability to work with tools and mechanical systems

• Basic programming skills or willingness to learn (e.g., Devetron, LabView, DasyLab, Python are considered an advantage)

• Sufficient written and spoken English skills

Start date: flexible, potentially as early as April

Project Length: 12 months or more
