For our client Volvo Cars, we're looking for CAE Crash Safety Analysis Engineer - Occupant Analysis Front and Rear. The Occupant Analysis Front and Rear team at Volvo Cars Safety Centre is responsible for occupant protection performance in frontal and rear crashes, and as an analysis engineer in the team, you will perform advanced finite element simulations with the aim to analyze and develop safety performance in our future cars. Your main task will be to support a team of highly skilled engineers in our daily work to reach legal, rating and Volvo Safety Standard targets. Responsibilities: * Create and develop virtual simulation models (CAE) * Perform simulations and analyses based on results from both virtual & physical test * Participate in development of technical solutions and numerical methods Competence Requirements: * MSc in Engineering within a relevant area * Experience from CAE-tools as LS-Dyna, Ansa and Meta Post. Minimum of 3 years * Experience within CAE analysis Crash. Minimum of 3 years * Experience of running simulations with Crash Test Dummies and performing Occupant Analysis * Good analytical competence. * Fluent in English (written and spoken) * High ability to work in team - personal skills to get things done in collaboration. Meritorious Competences: * Knowledge of Volvo product development process. * Experience from other OEMs in CAE Safety area. * Experience from working with HBMs * Experience from performning physical testing within the crash safety area * Skills in scripting languages, such as Python, Matlab or other.
