We are looking for a Oracle Database/Exadata Engineering Specialist for our client in the financial industry

The consultant will take a senior technical role in the engineering and evolution of business-critical database platforms within a complex financial services environment. The role combines strategic platform ownership with hands-on engineering, with a strong focus on reliability, security, automation and operational excellence.

Detailed description of work task to be carried out

• Oracle Database/Exadata Engineering Specialist with 18 years of experience in Retail Financial Services.
• Technical Service Owner focusing on database platform Strategy/Architecture/Compliance and Financials hosting business critical applications both On Premise and Hybrid Cloud.
• Principal DevSecOps engineer with a passion to deliver Automated Provisioning and Operations.

Must-have knowledge and experience

• Oracle Database – Architecture, Development, Strategy
• PLSQL development
• Oracle performance tuning and investigations (from both platform and application perspective)
• Platform Compliance/Risk
• PL/SQL • Service Configuration Management using ServiceNow.
• Service Continuity Design/Implementation
• Implementing Privileged Access Management using CyberArk and SailPoint.
• Database Automated Provisioning
• GitHub / GitHub Actions / GitHub Apps
• Ansible / Ansible Automation Platform
• Terraform
• Prometheus/Grafana
• AWS RDS Oracle
