Our client in retail is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to reinforce the Logistics Product Area development team. There are currently 8 other developers working across two squads within the product area.

We are looking for a proactive team player who is also capable of working very independently. The developer we are seeking is experienced and has a solid background and vision in system operations and improving maintainability—not just developing features. This team's systems are the pumping heart of a smooth-running online e-com business, and keeping the core operations in top shape is an essential part of the daily work.

Start: Asap
Duration: end of year, extension possible
Location: Helsinki onsite 2-3 days per week (3 days in the beginning)
Allocation: 100%
Language: English. Finnish is an advantage (most developers speak Finnish)

Requirements:

• The primary backend technologies are Node.js and PostgreSQL in an AWS Lambda environment.
• We also expect familiarity with AI-assisted software development and an interest in helping improve development processes according to AI-assisted coding best practices. The client currently uses GitHub Copilot (e.g., Copilot CLI) and Amazon Kiro
