For our client, we are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer.

Description:

You will work in a DevSecOps setup, delivering new features, maintenance, support, and operations. You will be part of the Access Management team, where we collaborate closely, take ownership of our work, and care about each other’s well-being. The services you will work on form the backbone of internal technology stack, which means there are high demands for resilience, quality, uptime, and security.

Continuous Delivery is essential. Team members are expected to take responsibility for delivering high-quality software applications all the way from requirements to production. Test automation is a key part of how we work. We run our components within the AWS stack and manage our Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

The position is based in Gothenburg. We currently have a hybrid working model with at least two mandatory office days per week, with the flexibility to work from home on other days. The team’s working language is English.

Skills:

• Collaborative team player who takes ownership and responsibility for your work.

• Strong technical expertise with a passion for problem solving.

• At least 5 years of experience in Java development (Java 17+), preferably with technologies such as Spring Boot (v3), CompletableFuture, Spring Security (server-side), Java Servlet Filters, and Streams.

• Strong SQL skills, and ideally familiarity with MQ and JMS.

• Solid understanding of the HTTP protocol.

• Proficient in Linux and the command line.

• Basic AWS experience.

• Relevant university degree.

Bonus: Previous experience with OAuth2, RFCs, ELK, Docker, or SAFe.

Any supplier awarded an assignment with our client needs to, at least, perform checks on:

• Identity verification

• Right-to-work confirmation

• Address verification (covering approximately the last 10 years)

• Education verification (highest relevant degree or certification)

• Financial fitness (e.g., history of bankruptcy or significant debts)

• Corporate directorship review (where applicable)

• Criminal record check in accordance with local legislation

• Basic open-source / media review (including social media)
