We are looking for a Mid-level Data Engineer to join a major Data Move initiative within the retail sector.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building and migrating modern data solutions in a cloud-based environment.

Tech Stack & Experience Required

We are looking for a consultant with strong experience in cloud-based data engineering, preferably within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key technologies include:

• GCP services: BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Composer
• SQL and Python
• DBT (data build tool)
• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Understanding of at least one BI tool
• Basic knowledge of Azure (nice to have, depending on migration scope)
• Experience with Informatica or other ETL tools is a plus

Soft Skills & Working Methods

• Experience with GitHub and version control workflows
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working in Agile environments

Certifications

• A relevant Google Cloud certification is required
