SAP Credit Management Technical Expert
**Description:** As a Senior SAP Credit Management and Collection & Dispute Management consultant, you will be involved in delivering robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions that support business processes within the Order to Cash, mainly Credit Management and Collection & Dispute Management domain.
You translate functional needs into high-quality technical architecture, integrations, and system designs assuring that the SAP S/4HANA for these areas platform is future-proof, maintainable, and aligned with technology standards.
This role is the technical backbone of the FSCM Credit Management and Collection & Dispute Management landscape, working closely with Solution Consultants, Solution Engineers/Business Analysts, and Integration/Platform teams to implement resilient solutions with minimal custom code, efficient integrations, and strong compliance. **Key Responsibilities:**
Technical Solution Design & Delivery SAP Credit Management Technical Expert - Contribute to the technical design and delivery of SAP Credit Management and Collection & Dispute Management solutions within S/4HANA, ensuring robustness, scalability, and alignment with architecture standards. - Design solutions using modern SAP technology, following SAP-recommended extension frameworks and minimizing custom code to secure long-term maintainability and upgrade readiness. - Apply strong engineering practices using ABAP development, enhancement frameworks, extension points and SAP´s standard tools to implement technical solutions. - Ensure adherence to the non-functional requirements for performance, reliability, maintainability, and IT security. *Integration & Platform Engineering* - Design and implement integrations between SAP Credit Management and surrounding systems using API-management principles, event-driven integration, and the middleware platforms. - Ensure stable data exchange and efficient end-to-end flows supporting credit exposure updates, risk assessment, and financial transactions. *Technical Governance & Quality* - Ensure that technical deliverables meet specifications, comply with internal standards, and follow secure-by-design principles. - Provide technical options and recommendations to Solution Consultants and business teams, ensuring well-founded architectural decisions. - Drive root-cause analysis and resolution of complex technical issues across SAP Credit Management and its integrations. *Continuous Improvement & Technology Leadership* - Identify opportunities to improve performance, architecture, development practices, and automation aligned with the technology roadmap. - Share best practices, support team competence development, and contribute to the SAP community within Group Digital & IT. **Skills & Qualifications** *Required:* - Strong technical expertise in SAP FSCM Credit Management and Collection & Dispute Management in S/4HANA. - Solid understanding of SAP technical components: ABAP (OO), CDS views, BTP, Fiori/UI5, BRF+, OData services, API's, SAP RAP. - Experience with architecture principles, IT security standards, and non-functional requirements. - Excellent analytical and communication skills, ability to work across teams and domains. *Preferred:* - Technical certifications in SAP or cloud platforms (BTP, Azure). - Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or similar technical fields. **Outcomes & Impact** - Robust, secure, and future-ready Credit Management and Collection & Dispute Management platform aligned with business needs. - Higher system performance and improved data quality through optimized integrations and architecture. - Reduced technical debt thanks to minimized custom code and strong adherence to standards. - Increased technical stability in order-to-cash processes and faster delivery cycles through better engineering practices.
