We are looking for a platform specialist within D365 Commerce and FO

Platform Specialist role supports Inter-IKEA ROSS in its strategic transformation by ensuring responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting the DROP platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 FO), and D365 Commerce. This role involves translating business requirements into functional solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other systems, and providing ongoing support and optimization.

As InterIkea ROSS continues its journey toward a modern, data-driven enterprise, the implementation of MSD365 FO and Commerce plays a critical role. As a Platform Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting the Dynamics 365 FO platform within an organization. Key responsibilities include gathering and analysing business requirements, customizing and configuring the platform, integrating it with other systems, and troubleshooting issues.

About DROP

DROP is a MSD365 FO and Commerce based business platform supporting multiple products, environments and stakeholders. It requires robust release governance to manage frequent changes, ensure traceability, and maintain data and system integrity across multiple development, test, and production environments.

Product team/ Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with product teams and different stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, ensuring the D365 F&O and Commerce solution meets their strategic and operational objectives.

Implementation & Configuration:

Install, configure, and customize D365 F&O and Commerce modules to align with specific business needs and processes.

Support Development:

Support developers to implement technical solutions, customizations, and integrations within the D365 F&O and Commerce platform. Enable and support product teams in building and launching products on the DROP platform.

Environment readiness:

Setup environments (Dev/UAT/BAT/PROD) to support Product teams and different Stakeholders, also setup a process for each environment setup. Ensure that the platform is configured, installed, tested and operational.

System Integration:

Ensure seamless integration of D365 F&O and Commerce with products, APIs and third-party systems.

Support & Troubleshooting:

Provide ongoing support, diagnose and resolve system issues, and troubleshoot tickets escalated from support teams. Also support Hype care by managing platform related incidents.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization:

Monitor the system performance, implement enhancements, and execute strategies to improve overall functionality and efficiency

Assist with Environment refresh, data migration and management strategies and ensure adherence to best practices for data handling within the ERP systems.

Power platform support:

Assist on designing, developing, and maintaining custom business applications and automation workflows using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate, integrating them with other systems, providing technical guidance and ensuring platform governance, quality, and continuous improvement.

Security Assessment:

Create and maintain the Business Impact Assessment (BIA) and Data Privacy Impact Assessment (DPIA) material for all the Platform related products along with cyber security team.

Skills Required

  • Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Commerce (D365 FO & Commerce) in enterprise or large-scale environments.
  • Proven experience supporting and maintaining D365 Finance & Operations and Commerce.
  • Experience managing end-to-end platform operations, including environment management, deployments, patching, and upgrades across multiple environments.
  • Solid understanding of D365 security model, including role-based security, duties, privileges, and compliance requirements.

  • Hands-on experience with integrations using Data Entities, OData, DMF, and Azure-based integration components.
  • Extensive experience managing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), including source control, branching strategies, build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Proven experience executing One Version (continuous update) upgrades, including impact analysis, regression testing coordination, and production rollout.
  • Proven experience managing environment lifecycle (DEV/TEST/UAT/PROD), including deployments, hotfixes, service updates, and regression support.
  • Experience on managing Microsoft Azure services such as Azure AD, Service Bus, Azure Functions, and monitoring tools.
  • Experience using Lifecycle Services (LCS), Commerce Scale Unit (CSU), Power platform, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines for issue tracking, releases, and operational governance.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot performance, stability, and data issues across Finance, Operations, and Commerce workloads.
  • Hands-on experience working with IT service management tools, DevOps processes, and vendor coordination.
