Location: Helsinki, Finland (Hybrid, including occasional visits to production facilities across Finland)
Scope: Full-time (100%)

About the assignment

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation & SCADA Developer to join an IT/OT Interfaces Team working at the intersection of industrial automation, software engineering, and energy production.

You will develop and maintain solutions connecting production facilities, automation systems, SCADA platforms, and enterprise IT services. The assignment offers the opportunity to work on business-critical systems supporting real-time operations, industrial integrations, and operational technology (OT) environments.

We are looking for someone who has experience with:

Automation & SCADA

• SCADA systems
• Industrial automation
• OT (Operational Technology)
• PLC programming (preferably Codesys)

Industrial Communication

• OPC UA
• IEC-104
• Modbus TCP
• ICCP

Software Development

• Automation software development
• Industrial software engineering
• System integrations
• Software lifecycle management
• Documentation and maintainability

Collaboration

• Working closely with automation specialists, project managers, production teams and business stakeholders
• Strong communication skills

Languages

• Fluent English
• Finnish is considered an advantage

Meritorious experience

Experience with one or more of the following is considered an advantage:

• WinCC OA development and configuration
• WAGO PLC solutions
• WAGO Solution Builder
• Networking technologies
