UX Designer

We are now looking for an UX Designer on the behalf of our client, Tetra Pak.

Background:

Tetra Pak Global Information Management (Global IM) supports the Tetra Pak Group with all aspects of Information Management. We set the information management strategy and standards and work together with Tetra Pak’s Global Process Owners to automate our business processes making sure we run projects & services that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its customers. Global IM has approx. 750 employees in four main sites: Chakan in India, Lund in Sweden, Denton in the USA and in Singapore.

We are around 70 people who work at our Software Development Centre of Excellence. The work is fully agile using frameworks such as scrum, Kanban, LEAN UX and Design Sprint. Our full-stack scrum teams consist of scrum master, front-end and back-end developers, test lead and UX/UI designer.

Skills:

  • A user-focused mindset – a passionate drive for understanding and meeting user needs.
  • Experience in user research methods, such as conducting interviews and usability testing.
  • Very strong people skills with an understanding of user needs, and the ability to translate insights into meaningful design decisions.
  • Very good knowledge in UI tools, primarily Figma. Photoshop and Illustrator is bonus.
  • Experience in designing UI for digital tools and applications.
  • The ability to understand, and create new design, based on graphical guidelines
  • The ability to understand and build upon an existing design, take ownership of its completion, and create new design solutions in alignment with the established direction.
  • The ability to collaborate with developers
  • The ability to deliver graphics to be used in development
  • A humble but confident attitude, with a good understanding and base in research how data and instinct play into decision making for the users.
  • Experience of designing in an agile environment or working with Lean UX or Design Sprint.
  • Some coding experience and competence can be an advantage, it is not required.

    Workplace: Lund

    Remote: Needs to be onsite at Lund office at least 3 days/week.

    Workload: 40h/week

    BYOD/CAD: BYOD

  • Drug test: A drug test needs to be completed before the assignment start date. This will be of the cost of the supplier/Consultant and not the client.
