For our client Volvo Cars we are looking for a Software Tester.

What you’ll do:

As a Software Tester in this team, you will be part of an agile cross functional development team that has end-to-end responsibility including design, architecture, documentation, implementation, verification and validation.

You will:

• Do test analysis together with your team.
• Create and document both manual and automated test procedures.
• Plan, execute tests, analyze results and report issues and anomalies during the entire software development lifecycle.
• Continuously perform regression testing whenever there are new changes to the code.
• Manage test cars and test environments to ensure system under test.
• Collaborate with your team as well as other teams and stakeholders.
• Be part of Volvo Cars test community and collaborate with other testers.
• Assuring knowledge of and visualize overall software quality.

What you’ll bring:

Volvo Cars is looking for an experienced and constantly curious software tester who is passionate about testing complex solutions spanning across multiple units within the vehicle as well as developing automated test for the same. You utilize your strong technical knowledge and curiosity to define, execute and report tests to enable the best understanding of the current quality level of the product. You always pay attention to details to secure high quality of your work.

• M.Sc in Software Engineering or equivalent experience through years of practice.
• Several years’ experience of software test, preferably within automotive.
• Well familiar with testing methodologies such as exploratory testing, test analysis.
• Proven skills in test automation, using Robot framework, Python or similar language.
• Experience of troubleshooting methodology.
• Driver’s license (B-level) is mandatory.
• Experience of tools such as Canoe is considered meritorious.
• Clear in communication both oral and written.
• Previous experience agile ways of working.
• Self-motivated
• Continuous learner
• Curious, honest, and helpful
