DevOps Engineer Jyväskylä on-site

Looking for a DevOps Engineer to strengthen a local development team. This assignment focuses on the full lifecycle of DevOps engineering in development projects: designing, developing, and maintaining solutions. The objective is to support the project team in improving application deployability and automating manual phases in the CI/CD process.

Main tasks include:

  • Automating solution integration of applications and services

  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

  • Automating deployments

  • Improving the quality of infrastructure code

  • Enhancing Git workflows and branching practices

  • Providing coaching on DevOps topics to teams

Detailed definition of the work package:

  • Participation in an application team as a DevOps Engineer

  • Performing manual software deployments and validation

  • Planning and integrating automated deployment practices and validations

  • Maintaining and developing Ansible playbooks for automated deployment processes

  • Maintaining and supporting development and test environment lifecycles

Understanding of the following tools and technologies is required:

Operating Systems & Tools:

  • Linux (Ubuntu)

  • Ansible

  • Terraform

  • Container technologies (Docker)

  • CI/CD pipelines

  • Artifact repositories

Programming Languages:

  • Python

Version Control:

  • Git

Test Automation:

  • Robot Framework

  • CI tools (e.g. Jenkins, Git-based CI solutions)

Soft skills:

  • Good communication skills

  • Good oral and written proficiency in English

  • Proactive self-starter with a passion for continuous learning and the ability to drive initiatives forward independently

  • Innovative and automation-driven mindset

  • “Can do” attitude

This work requires on-site presence in a hybrid working model (minimum three days per week at the client’s premises in Jyväskylä).
