Senior Data Architect

- Define a reusable data foundation and target architecture for sustainability, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), product compliance, and related reporting use cases.
- Establish data domains, data products, ownership models, governance principles, and standards for quality, lineage, versioning, and auditability.
- Ensure Databricks serves as the governed foundation for trusted structured input and output data, while integrating appropriately with external calculation and authoring tools.
- Collaborate across business, IT, sustainability, EHS, product compliance, manufacturing, and analytics stakeholders to align requirements and avoid fragmented point-to-point solutions.
- Design scalable, reusable data products that support current process automation needs as well as future corporate reporting and digital product passport requirements.
You will thrive if:
- You have deep experience in data architecture, lakehouse platforms, and governed data product design, ideally including Databricks.
- You understand the realities of manufacturing and product data, and can translate compliance-driven requirements into practical architectural decisions.
- You are comfortable working across cross-functional teams and bringing together business and technical stakeholders around a shared data model.
- You take a structured approach to governance, quality, traceability, and auditability in regulated or reporting-heavy environments.
- You can balance long-term architectural thinking with hands-on pragmatism in a complex, evolving delivery landscape.
